Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex software development projects using both Waterfall and Scrum methodologies. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-level executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise-level software projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope.

Responsibilities within the team:

• Lead and manage multiple software development projects, ensuring adherence to both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and status reports

• Manage communication with C-level executives and senior leadership, providing clear updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) while ensuring Waterfall-based projects adhere to their respective timelines and milestones

• Coordinate across various teams, including software development, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders, to align project goals with company objectives

• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively to maintain project momentum

• Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated, including project charters, requirement specifications, and change management logs

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and collaboration within teams

Facing the challenges of the role requires:

• 5+ years of project management experience in software development, with a proven track record of managing large-scale enterprise projects

• Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies

• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including engagement with C-level executives

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or equivalent

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT best practices

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is highly preferred

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
