Join us at DevHub, and be a part of a forward-thinking team that is shaping the future of technology.

Position Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical contributor responsible for improving how we build, ship, and run our services in the cloud. You’ll partner closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to automate delivery workflows, strengthen reliability and observability, and scale infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code. You will help drive DevOps best practices across teams through influence, technical ownership, and continuous improvement (without being a people-manager role).

Responsibilities within the team:

  • Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for secure, reliable, and fast cloud deployments (preferably using Azure DevOps)

  • Implement and standardize Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) to provision and evolve cloud environments consistently

  • Automate deployments and environment configuration, reducing manual operations and improving repeatability

  • Strengthen reliability and operational excellence: monitoring, alerting, incident response improvements, performance tuning, and capacity planning

  • Embed security and compliance into pipelines and infrastructure (secrets management, least privilege, vulnerability scanning, auditability)

  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve developer experience (self-service environments, standardized workflows, faster feedback loops)

  • Document technical approaches and create reusable patterns (modules/templates) to enable teams to adopt best practices

  • Mentor engineers through pairing, reviews, and knowledge sharing; contribute to a culture of learning and ownership

Job requirements

Facing the challenges of the role requires:

  • Relevant DevOps / SRE / cloud infrastructure or related experience, with strong hands-on delivery ownership

  • Strong experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred; GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins acceptable)

  • Strong experience with IaC (Terraform preferred; Pulumi/CloudFormation/ARM acceptable)

  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

  • Experience on at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)—Azure is a plus

  • Solid understanding of monitoring/observability and operating high-availability systems (logs/metrics/traces, alerting hygiene)

  • Experience with configuration management and automation in production environments

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for pragmatic, resilient solutions

  • Comfortable influencing cross-functional teams and driving improvements through collaboration (not authority)

Nice to have / Added value

  • Kubernetes and container ecosystem experience (AKS/EKS/GKE; Helm; basic cluster operations)

  • Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools; experience improving engineering productivity and release cadence

Salary Range:

€5,300 - €7,500 gross per month base salary.
