QA (Manual & Automation) - Timisoara

We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Manual & Automation Tester to join our quality assurance team. As a Manual & Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document and report defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.

• Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and project managers to understand application functionality and testing requirements.

• Document and track defects using appropriate tools, clearly describing issues and providing necessary steps to replicate them.

• Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization discussions to ensure timely and effective testing of software releases.

• Work closely with the automation testing team to identify test cases suitable for automation and provide input on test automation strategy.

• Assist in continuously improving testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manual testing techniques and tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst in software testing.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.

• Proficiency in using test case management tools and defect-tracking systems (e.g: Jira).

• Experience doing automation, using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, TestNG, JUnit, JavaScript or Java.

• Experience with developing and maintaining the automation framework, automation testing, effort estimation, automated test creation, automated test execution and reporting.

• Experience with CI tools and technologies (suck as Azure DevOps/Pipelines, Jenkins).

• Knowledge of Appium for writing and executing tests on iOS and Android.

• Coding skills and object-oriented programming.

• Experience with Git or a similar source control tool. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.

• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
